How I Make My Favorite Tea Infusion
Hey friends!
On youtube today I’ve got a new video all about how I make my FAVORITE tea infusion. It includes: rose, mint, cardamom, cinnamon, lemon balm, reishi and passionflower.
Tea infusions are one the most wonderful ways to experience the MAGIC of herbalism at home.
The difference between regular tea and tea infusion is that infusions are steeped for far longer. Regular tea might be steep 2-10 minutes. Infusions are usually steeped for 10+ minutes, up to 24 hours.
This infusion, in particular, I prefer to steep for about an hour. I make a BIG pot of it and resteep it throughout the day. I’ll drink it hot, then cold, then hot again. The herbs infuse their medicine into the water throughout a 12 hour day. I’ll even let it steep overnight if I haven’t finished up my latest brew.

In the world of flower essences it’s known for it’s use in calming down overheated emotions, relaxing ruminating anxieties and uplifting depressed feelings (sadness, melancholy, dissociation from self, grief).
