Adaptogenic Lattes 101 at Boketto Wellness

“What the heck are adaptogens? And how do I use them?” If you’ve ever asked those questions, this workshop is for you! Join Renee Byrd of Will Frolic for Food for a very special workshop all about how to make her famous instant nut-butter lattes that feature extra sparkle from adaptogens like maca, reishi and ashwagandha. By the end of this workshop, you’ll understand how to make these lattes at home and how to incorporate some of these amazing plant and fungi medicines into your daily life…deliciously!

We’ll start the morning sipping Renee’s recipes for cashew butter matcha and creamy almond butter herbal coffee. We’ll also be serving Frolic cold brew coffee to caffeinate you as needed. Vegan snacks and breakfast goodies will be available for munching*. Renee will do two demo tutorials of her latte recipes showing the process from start to finish. As we sip, eat and observe, Renee will give an overview of the most common adaptogens and how to use them effectively.

After the demo, Renee will guide participants on how to make individualized adaptogen-infused nut butters (aka “adapt latte butter”) by stirring almond-cashew butter together with Boketto’s house adaptogen powders. Everyone will get to walk away with an individualized adapt latte butter that you can blend directly into hot coffee or tea for magical lattes in a snap.

All participants will walk away with: DIY adapt latte butter, 2 latte recipe cards, adaptogen 101 worksheet.

*Please note if you are celiac or vegan when signing up. Our preferred herbal coffee has roasted barley but can be subbed out for a different variety. We will sweeten some of the drink with raw honey, but will have date-sweetened as an option.
